In Punjab, 20 women across the state have been selected for drone pilot training, to reduce the time taken in spraying nano-urea through drones. Two women from the Barnala district, have completed training and are now ready to operate drones in the fields.

"IFFCO is providing free drone units costing Rs.15 lakh per beneficiary under the Centrally Sponsored Scheme. Parneet Kaur of Aspaal Kalan and Kiran Pal Kaur of Sekha in Barnala district are among those who got



fifteen days of drone training from IFFCO at the Pradhan Mantri Mahila Kisan Drone Center in Manesar, Haryana. Barnala Deputy Commissioner Poonam Deep Kaur handed over drone pilot training certificates to them. Sharing her views Parneet Kaur said it's a matter of pride for her.

Both of them assured that they will work with full dedication to provide the maximum benefits of modern technologies to the farmers.
