In Bihar, 21 people died in flood related incidents. Maximum people died due to drowning. Nine others died due to lightning. Four casualties were reported from Siwan followed by two in Rohtash.
 
Meanwhile, Railways has cancelled six special trains and diverted routes of 12 others as flood waters touched Burhi Gandak rail bridge between Sagauli and Majhaulia stations on Muzaffarpur - Paniahawa section of Samastipur division under East- Central



Railway.
 
Rail traffick on Darbhanga - Jaynagar section was paralysed due to inundation of rail track near Jayanagar railway station. The Chief Public Relation Officer Rajesh Kumar told that Railway safety staff has been put on high vigilance to check damages to rail bridges and tracks. Trackmen have been deployed at each rail bridge to keep a close watch on the condition and water level at the bridges.
