2.18 Crore pucca houses completed till 11th March under Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana-Gramin, says Govt

New Delhi: The Government has informed that under Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G), 2 crores 18 lakh pucca houses have been completed till the 11th of this month.

In a written reply to a question in Rajya Sabha, Minister of State for Rural Development Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti said that under this scheme,



States and Union Territories have already sanctioned two crore 85 lakh pucca houses to the beneficiaries out of a total of two crore 94 lakh houses allocated to them. She informed the House that the Government has targeted to construct two crore 95 lakh pucca houses with basic amenities by March 2024.
