21st Century belongs to Indian youth says Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla

Chennai: Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla yesterday said that the 21st Century belonged to Indian youth. Speaking at the Convocation Ceremony at SRM College near Chennai yesterday, he said that Indian youth are highly motivated to achieve in educational research and modern technology. 

The Lok Sabha Speaker said that the functioning of the Union Government is more transparent and free of



corruption.

He informed that old laws have been discarded and new effective laws are being implemented for a better India. The Speaker wanted the youth to innovate newer technologies that are efficient and climate-friendly.

He called upon the youth to be a nation builder and make the dreams of the freedom fighters come true.
