Two hundred and forty candidates are left in the fray for 18 constituencies after scrutiny for the first phase of Chhattisgarh Assembly elections to be held on 12th November. 

According to reports, fifteen nomination papers have been rejected. 

Total two hundred and fifty-five aspirants had filed their



nomination papers for the first phase. 

In last assembly elections in 2013, nominations of total one hundred and seventy-two candidates were found valid in these constituencies. 

The last date for withdrawal of nomination papers is October 26 for this phase.
