25 lakh saplings to be planted on July 11 in Telangana State

Telangana government has taken up the mega project of plantation of 25 lakh saplings across the state in just one day - July 11. 

Urban development minister KT Rama Rao is reviewing the arrangements for the planting of saplings. Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) will plant two lakh seedlings on that



day. The mega site for HMDA plantation is DRDO land at Dindigal in Medak district and it has been inspected by the HMDA officials where the seedlings are planned for planting. 

Currently, the digging and pitting works are in progress. The massive plantation programme has been planned as part of Haritha Haaram.
