In Madhya Pradesh, 2500 candidates are left in the fray for Assembly Elections, after withdrawal of nominations. More than 350 candidates withdrew their names yesterday, the last day for withdrawal of nominations. A total of 2 thousand 916 nomination papers were found valid for 230 assembly seats in Madhya Pradesh. Voting for the single phase Assembly Election will be held on 17th of this month in the state. 

Even after the withdrawal of nominations in Madhya Pradesh, political parties have not got any relief as rebel candidates are still causing trouble on many seats. Some candidates are fighting as independent candidates



while some have joined other smaller parties. Meanwhile, in view of a large number of voters, auxiliary polling centres are being created in many assembly seats.  

According to official information, 103 auxiliary polling stations are being made in Madhya Pradesh at polling stations with voter strength of more than 1 thousand 550.

Meanwhile,Congress is starting a mega public relations campaign in the state from today in which many senior leaders will be addressing rallies. At the same time, BJP's campaign has already gained momentum.
