29,000 Police Personnel & 225 Paramilitary Companies Deployed for Assembly Election Security: Haryana DGP

Haryana Director General of Police Shatrujeet Kapoor has said that more than 29 thousand police personnel of Haryana Police and 225 companies of paramilitary forces will be deployed to conduct the voting for the assembly elections in a free, fair and peaceful manner. 

DGP said that 70 companies of paramilitary forces have already been deployed in different areas of the state. He said that along with ensuring compliance with the model code of



conduct in the state, the police are keeping a strict vigil at every nook and corner.

The Director General of Police said that an adequate number of police forces will be deployed at all 20 thousand 629 polling stations. Apart from this, additional police force will be deployed at 3460 sensitive and 138 vulnerable polling stations. Security arrangements will be tight at these booths, said DGP.
