3-day conference of State DGPs and IGs to begin from today

A three-day All-India annual conference of the state Directors General and Inspectors General of Police will begin from today near the Statue of Unity located in Narmada district of Gujarat in the presence of Home Minister Rajnath Singh.

According to official sources in Ahmedabad, Prime Minister Narendra Modi



who will be on a two-day visit to the State from tomorrow will attend the event.

A Union Home Ministry official had earlier said that militancy in Jammu and Kashmir, cross-border terrorism and attempts to radicalise youth will top the agenda of the annual conference.
