3 soldiers killed in gunfight in Hallan forest area of south Kashmir's Kulgam

In the Kashmir Valley, three soldiers were killed in a gunfight that erupted in the Hallan forest area of south Kashmir's Kulgam district on Friday evening. In a tweet, Army's Srinagar based 15 Corps said that three personnel who sustained injuries during the exchange of firing with terrorists in the Hallan area of Kulgam have succumbed to their



injuries.

According to Army, a Joint team of security forces had launched the operation based on specific inputs regarding the presence of terrorists in higher reaches of Halan in Kulgam district. Meanwhile, the operation continued till the reports last came in.
