3 youngsters run over by train while taking selfie on railway tracks in Tamil Nadu

Three youngsters were run over by a train while attempting to take a selfie video on railway tracks in Tamil Nadu's Chengalpattu. They were identified as Prakash (17), Mohan (17) and Ashok Kumar (24).

The youngsters were residents of Chettipunniyam area near the Singaperumal temple. Prakash, Mohan and Kumar had been regularly posting videos taken on railway tracks and were planning to do



the same when tragedy struck.

They were standing on the railway track and recording video when they got run over by an express train from Chennai Tambaram heading to Villupuram.

Upon receiving the information about the incident, the Railway Police arrived at the scene, recovered the bodies of the trio, and sent them to Chengalpattu Government Hospital for autopsy.
