30-hour-long encounter ends in Srinagar with killing of two LeT militants

The 30-hour-long gun battle between holed up militants and security forces in Karan Nagar area, here, ended on Tuesday afternoon with the killing of two Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) ultras.

"Both



the militants, who had engaged security forces since Monday morning in an abandoned building near a CRPF camp in Karan Nagar area of Srinagar were killed on Tuesday afternoon," a police officer said.
