4-day Chhat Pooja celebrations beginning from today in Bihar

In Bihar, four-day Chhat Pooja celebrations are beginning from today, with NAHAY-KHAY. Kharna rituals will be held tomorrow.On Thursday, devotees will pay oblations to the Sun God in the evening and on Friday, after paying oblations to the rising Sun, the Chhat Pooja



will conclude. 

Various Ghaats and Ponds are being decked-up for Pooja. Chief Minister Nitin Kumar inspected various Ghaats along river Ganga in Patna and instructed officials to augment safety steps to avoid untoward incidents.
