4 injured in clash between protesters, CRPF personnel in J&K

At least four youths sustained injuries during clashes between protesters and paramilitary CRPF personnel after youths attacked CRPF convoy with stones in South Kashmir's Kulgam district on Tuesday evening. 

Security sources said clashes erupted after youths pelted CRPF vehicles with rocks that were moving through Qaimoh and Khudwani areas of



Kulgam. 

They said CRPF personnel tried to disperse the protesters with tear gas shelling and later with pellet firing. 

They said CRPF personnel exercised restraint and used controlled force without any use of firearms.

All the injured were rushed to hospitals for specialised treatment.
