Mumbai: The government says four lakh lost children in the country have been rescued and returned to their families. Women and Child Development Minister Smriti Irani credited the achievement to TRACK THE MISSING CHILD. It is a portal dedicated to the cause of tracking missing and vulnerable children. Ms Irani highlighted that



with the cooperation of all and the coordination of the government, more than 2,500 adoptions have taken place across the country in a year. 

The Minister was speaking during a regional symposium on Child Protection, Child Safety and Child Welfare in Mumbai.
