In Rajasthan, a total of 40 candidates have filed nominations on 12 seats where elections are scheduled in the first phase. Maximum 10 candidates have filed nominations from Jaipur constituency. It is expected that nominations will be filed in large numbers on the last day of nominations today by most of the candidates from BJP, Congress and other parties.
BJP candidates Bhupendra Yadav from Alwar and Arjun Ram Meghwal from Bikaner will file their nominations today.
On the other hand, most of the Congress candidates will file their
nominations today for the first phase. There are a total of 25 Lok Sabha seats in the state. BJP has declared candidates on 24 seats. Whereas the name of the candidate for Bhilwara seat is yet to be announced. On the other hand, Congress has announced its candidates on 22 seats.
The party has left Sikar and Nagaur seats for its allies parties. Whereas the party has not yet announced the candidate for Banswara seat. Meanwhile, Bahujan Samaj Party has announced its candidates on seven seats.
