An earthquake of magnitude 4.0 on the Richter scale was recorded in Uttarakhand's Pithoragarh on Friday.
The quake was reported at 4:38 pm with its epicentre at a depth of 33
km north-northeast of Pithoragarh, according to the National Centre of Seismology (NCS).
The depth of the quake was 8 km.
So far, no reports of any damage have surfaced.
