4001 nomination filled for Madhya Pradesh assembly elections

In Madhya Pradesh, a total of 4001 nominations have been filed for November 28 assembly elections. Maximum 38 nominations each have been filed in Rewa and Satna assembly constituencies while a minimum of 2 nomination forms have been filed in Niwas seat in Mandla district.

 

Scrutiny of nominations will be held on Monday, while the last date of withdrawal of nominations is 14th of this month.  Meanwhile, after publishing the second brief revised list, names of total 98 thousand 819 voters have been included in the voter list till 



yesterday.

 

The total number of voters has become 5 crore 4 lakh 33 thousand and 79 in the final list including around 2 crore 63 lakh males and 2 crore 41 lakh females. Similarly, after rivision,total number of service voters are also incresed and as of now 62 thousand 179 service voters are in the list of service voters. 

 

In the meantime,BJP and Congress have also submitted lists of their star campaigners. The Congress has included 36 names as campaigners while BJP has announced 40 names for campaign.
