45% polling recorded in repolling of Gadchirole-Chimur seat

In Maharashtra, over 45 per cent polling was recorded in the re-polling held in Gadchiroli - Chimur Constituency on Monday. 

Re-polling was held at four polling centres because an encounter took place between security forces and Naxals in



Gadchiroli when a polling party was returning after the first phase of elections on April 11.

Seven Lok Sabha constituencies from Vidarbha region of Maharashtra went to polls in the first phase.
