Four thousand 532 children have benefited under the PM CARES for Children Scheme. The objective of this scheme is to ensure comprehensive care and protection of children who lost both parents or surviving parents or legal guidance due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

In



a written reply in the Lok Sabha yesterday, Women and Child Development Minister Annapurna Devi said a maximum of 855 children from Maharashtra have benefited under the scheme, followed by 467 in Uttar Pradesh and 433 in Madhya Pradesh.
