5th round of e-auction of mementos and gifts presented to PM Modi to conclude on Oct 31

New Delhi: The fifth round of e- auction of mementos and gifts presented to Prime Minister Narendra Modi will conclude on 31st of October which began on 2nd of October. Ministry of Culture is carrying out an e-auction event displaying a splendid array of gifts and mementos received by Prime Minister.

The e-auction features an exceptional collection of artifacts showcasing country's rich heritage. Addressing media in New Delhi, Minister of State for Culture Meenakashi Lekhi said that



E-Auction is getting momentum. She said that this e-auction marks the fifth edition in a series of successful auctions, the first of which was held in 2019. Mrs. Lekhi added that there are 912 items for the fifth e-auction. 

Over seven thousand items have been put on e-auction in the last 4 e-auctions. She said that the funds generated through this auction will be contributed to the noble cause of preserving and restoring river the Ganga.
