In Maharashtra, six persons were killed and about 10 others injured after a tempo and truck collided on a flyover at Dwarka Circle in Nashik district yesterday. The incident took place near an Ayyappa temple at 7.30 pm when the tempo traveller carrying 16 passengers was on their way to the CIDCO area in Nashik after attending a religious event in
Niphad.
Medical Officer of Nashik Government District Hospital Charudatta Shinde has informed that ten to twelve passengers are seriously injured in this accident and the death toll is likely to increase. Two of the injured are said to be in critical condition, police said, adding the injured were admitted to the Nashik district hospital.
