6 people died and 31 injured in fire incident in Mumbai

Mumbai: In Mumbai, six people died and 31 were injured in a major fire incident early this morning at a five-storey building near Azad Maidan in Goregaon. 30 people have been rescued from the fire. The fire broke out on the ground floor housing shops, scrap materials,

vehicles parking. People are stuck on the terrace along with the upper floors.

Efforts are being made by the fire brigade to bring the fire under control. Eight water pumps are pressed in service.
