New Delhi: Three persons who tested positive for novel coronavirus in Kerala are now stable, Health Minister Harsh Vardhan said on Thursday.
The 645 Indians evacuated from the coronavirus-hit Wuhan city have all tested negative for the virus and discharge guidelines are being issued, he said.
People at 21 airports are being screened for coronavirus, he told a press conference.
"All the states have been informed about the guidelines and precautionary measures to be taken," Vardhan said.
As many as 406 suspects,
who were evacuated from Wuhan, were housed at a quarantine facility of Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) were tested negative for the novel coronavirus infection, the ITBP had on Sunday said.
"A sampling of all returned from China was done. Samples of all 406 people are found negative of coronavirus," the ITBP said in a statement.
A total of 406 people who returned from the Chinese city of Wuhan, the epicentre of coronavirus, early this month are being looked after at Chhawla quarantine facility of ITBP by a team of doctors and medical professionals.
