In Kerala, 64.69 per cent of voting was recorded in the Wayanad Parliamentary constituency by poll held yesterday. The polls, which began on a brisk note during the morning hours, slowed down a bit in the afternoon. 

However, the momentum picked up by evening. In Wayanad, the maximum polling of 69.42 per cent



was recorded in the Eranad assembly segment, while the lowest was recorded in Nilambur at 61.91 per cent. 

In the Chelakkara reserved assembly constituency, 72.54 per cent of the electorate cast their votes, according to the latest available figures.
