The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Thursday said that the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 has seen a voter turnout of about 66.95% so far with approximately 451 million people having voted during the first four phases.

(ECs) Gyanesh Kumar and Sukhbir Singh Sandhu have directed chief electoral officers (CEOs) of the states going to poll in the 5th, 6th, and 7th phases to timely distribute voter information slips to all electors and enhance outreach activities. They have also appealed to celebrities to join in the voter outreach campaigns.
