In Maharashtra, after scrutiny of nominations, a total of 7 thousand 50 candidates are in fray for 288 constituencies for the Maharashtra Assembly elections. Nominations of 917 candidates have been found invalid. For the Nanded Lok Sabha by-election, nomination of 22 candidates has been found valid



after scrutiny. Nominations can be withdrawn till Monday (4th November). 

Voting in the state will be held on 20th November and counting of votes will take place on 23rd November. There are around 9 crore 70 lakh voters in the state.
