In Chhattisgarh, the two-phase polling process for the Assembly elections has come to an end with 71.93 per cent voter turn out in 72 constituencies in the second phase yesterday. 

Electoral fates of total 1269 candidates, including 133 women, were sealed in the electronic voting



machines. 

Meanwhile, scrutiny of nominations took place in Rajasthan and Telangana for the Assembly polls yesterday. Thursday is the last day for withdrawal of nominations. 

613 nominations have been rejected after scrutiny in Rajasthan. Candidates have now started campaigning in the state.
