8 dead during Ganesh immersion in Maharashtra

In Maharashtra, eight people lost their lives during the Ganesh immersion at various locations yesterday. Three children tragically died during the immersion procession after being run over by a tractor. Six others were injured in the incident and are currently undergoing treatment. Two brothers drowned in the Panjhra River in Dhule yesterday



evening. 

In Nashik, two young men drowned in Pathardi, while another youth was swept away in Chunchale village, with search efforts ongoing. In Amravati, three people drowned in the Poorna River during the Ganesh immersion. The body of one of them was recovered this morning, and rescue operations for the others are still underway.
