8 Killed by lightning strikes in Bihar state

In Bihar, eight people were killed by lightning strikes in the last 24 hours in Rohtas, Saran, and Sheikhpura districts. Four casualties were reported from Rohtas, three from Saran district and one death took place in Sheikhpura.

Most of the casualties happened



when people were working in the fields during the rains. The India Meteorological Department has warned people to not venture out during thunderstorms and rain. The Monsoon is again active in the State lashing several parts with heavy rainfall.
