9 injured as bridge collapses in Mumbai

At least nine persons were injured when a bridge constructed over a nullah collapsed in suburban Malad area near Mumbai last night. The bridge, which is situated in Evershine Nagar in Malad, connects Evershine Nagar to Malvani. The reason for



the collapse is not yet known. 

The injured are being treated in a nearby hospital. Quoting sources,  reports that a case has been registered regarding the matter and investigations are underway.
