A class 12th student jumps off balcony of Gurugram high-rise, dies

According to police on Wednesday, a Class 12 student of a private school allegedly committed suicide by jumping from the balcony of his 13th-floor apartment.

The incident took place late on Monday night, according to the police. The family of the 17-year-old lived in Sector 41 at the Retreat Society, South City 1.

Although no



suicide note was found on the spot it was suspected that the boy was concerned about his ongoing exams and studies.

Security guards of the society were the first to notice the victim's body lying on the ground in a pool of blood and notified his family.

He was taken to the hospital in critical condition where doctors declared him dead.
