Badaun: In the Badaun district, a group of upper caste men are alleged to have killed a 10-year-old Dalit boy over a property dispute.

On Sunday evening, the student in Class 3 went missing, and hours later, his body was discovered hanging from a tree in the village farm.

The incident took place in Rafatpur, a city with a mix of Dalits and upper caste people.

Dalit is



the current village head.

The victim, Gurjeet, was playing in the farm near the disputed portion of the land when the accused men caught him, strangled him, and tied him to a tree, according to the boy's family.

After spotting a few villagers in the vicinity, the men fled.

The incident is being investigated, according to the police, and the body has been sent for post-mortem
