A National Workshop on Women’s Leadership in Panchayats was held in New Delhi

A National Workshop on Women’s Leadership in Panchayats organised by the Panchayati Raj Ministry was held in New Delhi yesterday. Around 400 Panchayat representatives across the country participated in the workshop.

Puducherry, Kiran Bedi highlighted the issues of Panchayat at ground level and suggested their solutions to Panchayat representatives. She said the Panchayat sarpanch should take their responsibility because two-third of the country lives in rural India.
