A Pakistani drone was shot down by the Border Security Force along the International Border in Kathua district of Jammu Division in the wee hours today.
According to official sources the drone was spotted hovering in the skies by a BSF party on patrol duty in the vicinity of Border Out Post Pansar around 5.10 am . BSF personnel shot down the
flying object 250 metres inside Indian territory. Weapons have been recovered from the Pakistani drone which include 8 grenades, one US made rifle and steel bullets which can pierce a bullet proof vehicle. Senior BSF and police officers have rushed to the spot and further investigation is on.
