BJP has accused the AAP government in Delhi of trying to take advantage of the employees' strike by extending loan instead of providing funds to municipal corporations. Delhi BJP President Satish Upadhyay said that even at the time of the strike in June 2015, the Kejriwal government played dirty politics and tried to provoke the employees. He said, the Delhi Chief Minister has once again announced
loan to the corporations taking advantage of the sensitive issue of payment of salaries to the employees.
Mr Upadhyay challenged Delhi government to issue orders to its Director of Local Bodies to take police action against the municipal corporations if it is aware of scams in BJP-controlled civic bodies as was charged by Mr Kejriwal during his media briefing in Bengaluru.
