AAP MLAs Aatishi Marlena, Saurabh Bharadwaj to be new ministers in Delhi govt

New Delhi: AAP MLAs Aatishi Marlena and Saurabh Bharadwaj will be the new Ministers in Delhi government. President Droupadi Murmu has appointed them on the advice of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Their appointment as new Ministers in Delhi government came following the resignations of former Cabinet Ministers Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain on charges of corruption.
The
President has also accepted their resignations. Former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia was arrested by the CBI for alleged corruption in the formulation and implementation of the now scrapped Delhi Excise policy for 2021-22 in the national capital. Satyendar Jain had been arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in May last year for his alleged involvement in a money laundering case.
