Aasara pensions to be disbursed from today

Nizamabad: The Aasara pensions and financial assistance for beedi workers for the month of January would be distributed from February 24 to 29 at the post offices, said DRDA Project Director Venkatesham here on Tuesday. Speaking to the media, the DRDA project director said that the Aasara pensions like pensions for the aged, widows, disabled, weavers, toddy tappers would be



disbursed. 

Those having legible thumb impressions would receive their pensios on Wednesday and Thursday while the beedi works would get financial assistance on Februry 26 and 27. Those who do not have Aaadhar Cards and Legible thumb impressions would receive pensions from village secretaries in villages and bill collectors in the municipalities on February 29, the porject director added.
