Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, will land in New Delhi on Sunday on a two-day maiden visit to India at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
While making the announcement, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said that the UAE leader's visit will further strengthen ties between both countries and open avenues for partnership in new and emerging areas.
"At the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, will pay an official visit to India on September 9 and 10," the MEA was quoted as saying by news agency PTI.
Several
ministers from the UAE government and a business delegation will be accompanying the Crown Prince, the MEA said.
Prime Minister Modi and the Crown Prince Nahyan will hold talks on Sunday covering an array of issues of bilateral cooperation.
"India and UAE share historically close and friendly ties. In recent years, the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between India and the UAE has deepened in a wide range of areas including political, trade, investment, connectivity, energy, technology, education, and culture", the MEA statement added.
The two leaders are also expected to discuss the overall situation in West Asia, arising out of the Israel-Hamas war.
