Advisor Baseer Ahmad Khan asks J&K police to implement lockdown strictly

In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, the Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Baseer Ahmad Khan asked the J&K police to implement the lockdown strictly and ensure that only those vehicles that carry valid passes issued by the competent authority are allowed to ply.

The Advisor directed the officers to see to it that all passengers coming into J&K are tested



for Covid so that no positive case sneaks into J&K.

Meanwhile,  3614 fresh positive cases were reported in Jammu and Kashmir yesterday. Out of these, 2118 cases were reported from Kashmir Division while 1496 cases were reported from Jammu. Besides, 56 covid fatalities were also reported in the Union Territory yesterday
