New Delhi, April 22: A day after being expelled from the Congress, Barkha Singh is all set to join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday.
Singh will meet BJP's national Vice President and Delhi in-charge Shyam Jaju and will officially join the party at its headquarters at 1 pm, according to sources.
On Friday, Congress expelled her for six years for indulging in anti-party activities. Singh, a former chief of the Delhi Commission for Women, was removed from her post as chief of DPCC's women's

wing.
Earlier, resigning from the post Singh lashed out at senior party leaders. 'Congress party under the leadership of Rahul and Maken has only used the issue of empowerment of women and women security to gather votes. The issue means nothing to them,' she had said.
'In an organisation where I myself am unsafe, how will I empower other women in that organisation? That is why I hereby resign from the post of president of Delhi Mahila Congress. Rahul Gandhi is unfit to lead the party,' she had said.
