Agartala-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express derails in Assam

In Assam, the Agartala-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express derailed at Dibalong station under the Lumding division in the Lumding-Badarpur Hill section yesterday. Official sources said that eight coaches, including the power car and the engine, were derailed. However, no casualties or major injuries have been reported.

train and an accident relief medical train have already left for the site from Lumding, along with senior officials of the division to supervise the rescue and restoration works.
