Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister, Shivraj Singh Chouhan has emphasised the government is committed to supporting initiatives that ensure sustainable and profitable agriculture, resilient ecosystems and food security for all. Addressing the Global Soils Conference 2024 virtually in New Delhi yesterday, Mr Chouhan underlined that soil health has become a global concern now. has hampered the soil in the country.
Mr Chouhan also informed that the government is looking to promote organic farming in the country. He said that female students and researchers should play a leading role in developing innovations that address local and global soil challenges.
