The Indian Air Force is set up to battle even without prior warning the need emerges, Air Chief Marshal Birender Singh Dhanoa said on Sunday, denoting the 85th Air Force Day at the Hindon base. 

"Despite the pace of continuous securing, modernisation, indigenisation exertion and our want for peace, we are set up to battle at a short notice should the need emerge," Dhanoa said. 

He likewise said that the Air Force was getting multi-range key capacities and stayed focused on building a "joint manship" with the Indian Army and the Navy. 

Dhanoa said security of all Air Force stations have been upgraded to battle any danger, including sub-ordinary dangers, after the psychological oppressor assault on the IAF base station in Pathankot a year ago.
