Air Chief Marshal V R Chaudhari launches first comic book on Indian Air Force heroes

Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari has launched the first comic book in the series of heroes of the Indian Air Force yesterday. The book published by the Indian Air Force is aimed at presenting historical and heroic narratives of the Indian Air Force since its inception. It also aims to educate the readers about the war history of the Indian Air Force and foster a sense of duty and inspiration among the youth of the nation.

This comic book consists of two stories, the first is about the Marshal of the



Air Force Arjan Singh DFC and the second is about the 1971 epic Battle of Boyra. It also gives out information about career choices in the Indian Air Force and the eligibility criteria.

The book is free for circulation amongst young children. The distribution will be done during Induction Publicity drives conducted by the Indian Air Force.  A digital version of the book will be released on the occasion of Air Force Day on 8th October at www[dot]careerairforce[dot]nic[dot]in.
