Air India offers hefty discounts on last-minute flight bookings

In a big relief to last minute passengers who generally travel due to an emergency, Air India has decided that very last moment available seats within three hours of departure will be sold at a hefty discount. 

The discount will normally be exceeding forty percent of the selling price. The decision was taken during a commercial review meeting at Air India headquarters on



Friday. 

The Spokesman of the national carrier said, tickets can be purchased from all outlets including Air India Booking Counters, Air India Mobile App, Air India website and Travel Agents. 

The aviation sector prices generally increase steeply closer to the departure and the move by AIR India will be a big boon to the last minute travelers.
