The air quality in the national capital, Delhi, remains in the “very poor” category, with an average Air Quality Index (AQI) of 301 as of 7 AM this morning. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, the AQI in several areas of the city continues to fall in the “very poor” category.
Delhi’s Bawana station was recorded at
343, Shadipur at 375, Jahangirpuri at 330, Mundka at 352, Rohini at 325, Anand Vihar at 311, and Ashok Vihar recorded an AQI of 316.
The India Meteorological Department has forecast smog and moderate fog conditions in the morning hours and shallow fog conditions in night hours in Delhi and NCR today.
