New Delhi: Air quality in the national capital remains in very poor category today for the sixth consecutive day as cold weather and calm winds allowed accumulation of pollutants. The Air Quality Index in the city at 8.45 A.M. was recorded at 358.
An AQI between 0 to 50 is considered good, 51 to 100 satisfactory, 101 to
200 moderate, 201 to 300 poor and 301-400 very poor. An AQI above 500 falls in the severe plus category.
Meanwhile, Delhiites witnessed moderate fog in the morning. The minimum temperature is expected to be 9 degrees Celsius and the maximum will hover around 23 degrees Celsius.
