All guidelines pertaining to social distancing will be adhered during Parliament's monsoon session: Om Birla

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has said that a smooth transaction of the business of Parliament during the Monsoon Session in view of COVID-19 is his priority.

He said, all guidelines pertaining to social distancing will be adhered to during the session. The Lok Sabha Speaker yesterday said that he chaired a meeting to review the preparations for the upcoming session



and directed all the agencies concerned to work diligently for sanitisation and other arrangements. In a series of tweets, Mr Birla said, necessary protocols are being prepared for Members of Parliament and their staff. The Lok Sabha Speaker also said, guidelines are being formulated for the Parliament officials and staff.
