The All India Sufi Sajjadanashin Council yesterday welcomed the amendments in Waqf Amendment Bill, which will be tabled in the Parliament in the ongoing session. The Chairman of the Council Hazrat Syed Naseruddin Chisty said that he is confident that the draft of the bill will be transparent and no one should have any objection on it.
Talking to media in New Delhi, he
said the people who are opposing this bill are misleading the society. He alleged that there is immense corruption in all the waqf boards and few officials of the waqf board misused their positions. The Chairman of the Council also requested the Government to set up Dargah Board for managing the property of Dargarh for upliftment of the community.
